We have partnered with Seamless Health to offer accredited medical aesthetics training to regulated health professionals who are interested in the field of cosmetics.
What you’ll experience
This workshop will provide injectors more hands on time injecting dermal fillers. Students will practice their injection skills under direct expert supervision.
Participants who have completed training in the past will find this workshop valuable for more hands on practicum to refresh their skills and gain confidence.
- Evaluate correct patient selection criteria, the importance of medical history review and elements of a successful aesthetic consultation.
- Lean how to explain pre-care, post care, risks and side-effects and from there create a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Establish and exhibit successful skills in performing live model consultations.
- Demonstrate correct injection methods and techniques for dermal fillers using neede and cannula techniques.
A brief didactic session to:
- review injection techniques
- product information and rheology
Injecting Techniques & Practice:
- Group discussion a model and demonstration of dermal filler injection techniques
Lunch and Learn (provided by Prollenium Medical Technologies)
- Working within a team and an expert instructor, you will inject your models as well you will have the opportunity to shadow other injections
- Models will be provided, but treatment area and technique is not guaranteed. If you would like to practice a specific technique, please bring your own appropriate model for the specific treatment you would like to perform. Please contact us at info@seamlesshealth.ca to have your models approved no later than October 15.
- After successfully completing the workshop, attendees will receive official “Certificate of Attendance – Focused Practicum on Dermal Fillers”.

FAQs
The course is available to Physicians (MD), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Registered Nurses (RN), and Registered Practical Nurses (RPN), and Respiratory Therapists (RT)who are licensed in Ontario, Canada. In order to participate, students must have previously completed an “Introduction to Botox/Fillers” workshop any time in the last 2 years (copy of certificate required for participation).
Payment plans can be arranged through our financing partner subject to approval.
Workshops are held at West Suites in Kingston. Our large training room and presentation screens are used to teach content and techniques and our treatment rooms are used for hands on practical learning. Models are typically provided so each student can personally apply their knowledge.
Depending on the class size and specific course content there will be from 1-3 instructors in attendance to give students sufficient guidance and feedback.
The majority of our workshops are hands on and include models to practice new skills and techniques. This is the best way to learn!
Our training is accredited by the Canadian Nurses Association and students will receive a certificate upon completion.
Cancellation policy is flexible if we are able to fill the student’s spot in the workshop.
